Founded in 1993 to import and distribute international brands in Albania, Elka S.A. currently boasts a distribution network that spans across Greece, FYROM and Kosovo. Since 2007, Elka S.A. has been producing and marketing its own award winning croissants brands Belino, Replay and Daily across 26 markets, while in 2016 it entered the savoury snacks category with the successful launch of Replay chips and extruded snacks. Elka has won numerous international quality awards, including the below: The “International Star for Leadership in Quality” in Business Initiative Directions QC100 Conference (Paris 2011) The “Platinum Century International Quality ERA Award” for commitment to Quality and Excellence at the International Quality Convention (Geneva 2013) The “European Quality Award” for the high quality of its products, in accordance with European standards, at the International Socrates Awards (Montreux 2014). Elka was founded to import and distribute international brands in Albania, with the sole purpose to add value to customers and consumers. Elka started building a distribution network that steadily became the successful model that the company deploys today. ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System Elka S.A. is certified for implementing successfully this food safety management system to ensure the quality and safety of its products, to evaluate and assess customer requirements and demonstrate conformity with those mutually agreed customer requirements that relate to food safety, in order to enhance customer satisfaction. IFS Food – International Featured Standards Elka S.A. is certified with IFS, as a company who strives for excellence in quality, food safety and customer satisfaction. The company is implementing the above system at the highest level in order to provide customers with high quality and safe to consume products.

In 2016 Elka entered the savoury snacks category and expanded its production capabilities by building two new production units for potato chips and extruded snacks and successfully launching Replay Snacks. In 2007, Elka S.A. invested in a state of the art croissant production unit (ISO and IFS certified), that enabled the creation of its own market leading and award winning croissant brands Belino, Replay and Daily. In 2016, Elka expanded its production capabilities by building two new production units focusing on potato chips and extruded snacks.
